What is Zumba?
Zumba is a Latin-inspired workout. It's a cross between Latin dancing
and aerobics, with more of an emphasis on dance. Once the music comes
on, it's hard not to want to move your hips to the beat! Zumba fuses
hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic
workout system designed to be FUN and EASY TO DO! The routines feature
interval-training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while
burning fat. Add some Latin flavour and International zest to the mix
and you've got Zumba! Come and see for yourself why Zumba has quickly
become the single most influential movement in the history of fitness.
You won't even realize you're working out!
Do I have to be a dancer?
You do not have to have any dance experience to take Zumba... just
follow along as best you can, let loose, and most importantly, HAVE
FUN!
What should I wear?
Wear what you're comfortable in. The treads on the bottom of your
shoes should not be too thick, as moving is a must in Zumba!
