Laser Therapy
What is Laser Therapy?
It is a method of treatment using a laser. The laser light will
penetrate the tissue and then be absorbed by the cell. The light then
effectively stimulates the cell to promote healing and also provide
pain relief.
What is Tens Therapy?
TENS= Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation.
It is an effective form of pain management. It is painless, and can
produce significant results for most pain conditions.
It works by stimulating the smaller nerve fibres which will then block
pain. The stimulation will also produce endorphins which are the
body’s natural way of pain relief.
This will result in muscle relaxation and better circulation.
What is Laser Tens Therapy?
It is a combination of both LASER and TENS. Patients can benefit from
both treatments or LASER only!
